Eurovet Animal Health has a wide range of products for treatment of disease in the intensive farming sector and for the treatment of companion animals. Through its marketing and sales organisations Eurovet markets these technically superior generic products in more than 50 countries worldwide. Using modern marketing support technology Eurovet´s products are extensively utilised by veterinarians and farmers worldwide who believe in achieving the best results.

Quality in Manufacturing
Eurovet Animal Health was the first Dutch veterinary generic pharmaceutical manufacturer to receive the GMP approval.

All products meet the high European quality standards and this quality is monitored carefully in each phase of the development and production process. The Quality Assurance department carefully ensures that the company continues to operate according to GMP guidelines.

The production is monitored by Quality Control. A qualified person inspects all raw materials that are used in the production process. Before any product is released to enter the marketplace it must undergo strict final quality control analysis. All analyses are implemented according to GCLP conditions, making use of the most recent HPLC-equipment.

Quality in Research and Development
The research and development activities of Eurovet Animal Health are carried out in two sub-departments. The first is the Pharmaceutical Developmental Department where experienced pharmacists and analysts are working on the formulation of new products, and on a continuous improvement programme of our existing products. Extensive work on product formulations, development of methods of analysis and stability studies is carried out in this important department. The department works closely with health services, universities, research institutes and other external bodies.

The second is the Regulatory Affairs Department where a team of specialised veterinarians is working on the registration of products. This department focuses on carrying out of clinical efficacy, residue, ecotoxity and toxicological trials. Compiling the registration dossiers and expert reports the specialists of Regulatory Affairs also work closely with governmental and university research organisations. Eurovet Animal Health has a detailed know-how of the registration requirements of many countries around the world.

This experience, combined with the extensive available data, ensures a straightforward registration of new products and hence a swift and successful introduction on the marketplace.

Eurovet Animal Health is more than a first-class manufacturer of veterinary pharmaceutical products. It also owes its prominent position to the excellent relationships that it has developed over the years with its customers and distributors.
